Join us as we celebrate 55 years of nurturing children, supporting families, and strengthening community at the Crispus Attucks Children’s Center 55th Anniversary Garden Celebration on Saturday, September 19, 2026. Held on the CACC campus, this special afternoon will bring together alumni, families, educators, supporters, neighbors, and community leaders to honor the organization’s legacy and invest in its future. Since 1971, CACC has worked alongside families to provide high-quality early childhood education in a safe, welcoming environment rooted in community and care. The celebration will feature a festive garden party atmosphere with live jazz, passed hors d’oeuvres, beer and wine, storytelling, alumni reflections, silent auction, and opportunities to connect with others who care deeply about children and families in Boston. We will also honor longtime former Executive Director Lesley Christian for her extraordinary leadership and lasting impact on generations of children and families. Today, CACC serves approximately 200 infants, toddlers, and preschoolers each day, with the vast majority of families relying on childcare subsidies and many children identified as high-need. Proceeds from the evening will help sustain and strengthen CACC’s programs, family engagement efforts, and enrichment opportunities for children.
